What to expect at your first visit
You can expect a personable, receptive, humanizing exchange. During your first appointment, you will meet with Dr. Klesaris for approximately 1-2 hours, at which time she will take an extensive medical, family, social and surgical history. She'll look at previous diagnoses, lab testing, medical records and also address your current health concerns and goals. She'll review current eating habits, exercise and sleep habits along with any previous lab testing and/or medical records from your primary or specialty physicians so bring these and any supplements you're currently taking with you. You will also have a comprehensive physical exam and may have blood drawn onsite or at an offsite laboratory of your choice. At the end of the visit, Dr. Klesaris will start you on a basic plan that may include nutritional supplements, diet recommendations and simple stress relaxation techniques.

Bioidentical hormones are derived from natural sources such as yams and soy, and are designed to replicate the same chemical structure as the hormones that are produced naturally by our bodies. Based on your individual hormone needs, we will prescribe customized, compounded, bioidentical hormones from our certified compounding pharmacies as well as medical grade supplements (nutraceuticals) to optimize hormone function.
* Individualized weight loss programs and functional nutrition assessment:
Dr. Klesaris will consult with you to develop a personalized regimen for appropriate and desired weight loss. Ideal weight loss is attainable with hormone balance and a sound nutrition plan.
* Toxin assessment:
We thoroughly review personal history as endocrine disruptors such as heavy metals, PBAs, xenoestrogens and phthalates which are found in hundreds of consumer products. Toxins impair all chemical reactions in the body and impede the absorption and utilization of nutrients and hormones. Patients will be assessed for any required bowel, liver and tissue detoxification.
* Techniques in relaxation and meditation:
We will help you learn practical, reliable tools to connect your heart and mind to decrease stress and build resilience. It will require only minutes of your time daily, using evidence-based breathing relaxation techniques based on your heart rate variability.
